Our Services
∙
Geotechnical Drilling
Geotechnical drilling is a site investigation technique designed to uncover the physical properties surrounding a construction site. Also known as geotechnical boring, this process involves evaluating the soil, rock, groundwater, and overall conditions within a given depth and location.
∙
Environmental Drilling
Environmental drilling is a way to investigate and delineate subsurface conditions and monitor them over time. The data collected may be used to identify areas of soil or groundwater contamination, log water table depths, or monitor and confirm the efficacy of remediation efforts.
∙
Helical Anchoring
Q-Drilling & Remediation Inc. offers helical anchoring services using certified AB Chance Helical Installers. Helical piers, also known as anchors, piles or screwpiles, are a reliable and efficient deep foundation solution used to secure new or repair existing foundations. They are particularly useful in situations where soil conditions prevent the use of standard foundation solutions.
∙
Rock Anchoring
Rock anchors are made of high tensile steel, and typically they are anchored in sound bedrock by means of high strength grouting. Ducts are placed in the concrete and holes will be drilled into the rock for post-tensioning application. The anchors may be bolts or cables.
∙
Petroleum Plus Services
Petroleum Plus Services specializes in complete turn key installations including aviation fueling sites, furnace oil tanks, underground commercial and industrial installations, tank farms, card lock and dispensing systems. Our experience and professional staff are the key to our growth. We take pride in our communication with our clients and the commitment to deliver quality workmanship.
∙
Slope Stabilization
Our slope stabilization services use a range of methods, including rock anchors, soil nailing, and grouting, to provide effective sub-surface stabilization solutions. We also offer cribbing solutions to prevent erosion and keep your land secure.
∙
Underpinning
Underpinning is a method of construction that sees the depth of the foundations to a building being increased. The soil beneath the existing foundation is excavated and is replaced with foundation material, normally concrete, in phases. Underpinning requires close attention to design, methodology and safety procedures
∙
Soil Remediation
Soil Remediation, at its core, involves the act of removing contaminants – things like pesticides, hydrocarbons, and heavy metals – from soil. Soil remediation techniques make the environment cleaner and safer for plant, animal and human life. They remove or contain harmful contaminants such as PCBs, volatile chemicals, radioactive materials, metals, organic compounds and pathogens.
